01 Registration

  • You register here via our online form.

02 Provision of documents

  • We confirm your registration and ask you to provide us with certain information. This includes, among other things, the job description and the CV of the CFO candidate to be reviewed, as well as a questionnaire. This clarifies, among other things,
    which specific issues the candidate will encounter in his or her potential future role and identifies concrete professional skills as well as other requirements that our expert should address in the FBCheck.
  • If required, one or, in exceptional cases, several experts will be included.

03 Matching

  • We search our network for the appropriate expert(s) for your individual FBCheck and propose them to you or your consultant.
  • We coordinate an appointment for the FBCheck - as desired as a classic interview or in the form of a general exchange among experts („fireside evening“).

04 Interview with CFO

  • Our expert interviews your CFO candidate on the desired communication channel regarding the skills to be validated (target vs. actual skills check).
  • “What skills should a CFO bring to this position/industry or/and which should be built or present in the team in the future (embedding/fit in the finance team)“.
  • Optional: CFO onboarding 100 days (see FBMentors).

05 Evaluation and feedback

  • Our expert shares his personal assessment
    of your CFO candidate’s technical skills with you or your consultant in a personal meeting (telephone call, video conference).
  • You will also receive a written report in which the contents of the interview as well as the impressions and assessments are recorded. This report is prepared in accordance with our standardized quality criteria.
